I have been having an artist block of sorts and decided to go back to painting small sketches which I am happy and most relaxed doing. Coincidentally I had submitted to take part in the upcoming Pameran Poskad, a group exhibition of postcard sized artworks that sounded like fun to me.
One my happiest recent travels is a trip to Taiwan with a group of old friends. We had a rollicking good time eating, I mean visiting, the towns and places of interest from Tainan to Central Taiwan and back to Taipei. So it was that I decided to paint postcard sized pictures inspired by my Taiwan trip, hence this series of mini-works that will be displayed at the Pameran Poskad exhibition on 18 April to 1 May 2010 at my art space.
